Installation and replacement precautions for oil research vane pump accessories

When installing and disassembling the hydraulic cylinder seals, the accessories of the oil research vane pump should prevent the seals from being scratched or damaged by sharp corners such as threads and return grooves, which may affect their sealing performance. The following precautions should be taken.

① The sharp corners of the parts through which the seal passes should be deburred and chamfered.

② The threads through which the seal passes should be protected to prevent damage to the lip of the seal. When the seal passes through the external thread or groove, a dedicated sleeve should be fitted in the corresponding direction.

③ When the seal must pass through internal threads or radial holes, the oil research fittings should ensure that the inner diameter of the internal threads or the diameter of the radial holes is greater than the outer diameter of the seal.

④ In order to reduce the installation and disassembly resistance of the seal, lubricating grease or hydraulic oil should be applied in the corresponding direction through which the seal passes, and excessive tensile deformation of the seal should be prevented as much as possible to affect its sealing performance.

⑤ It is not allowed to use devices with sharp corners or dismantle sealing rings.

⑥ When replacing the new sealing ring, the rust, dirt, and debris in the clean sealing groove of the PV2R series vane pump accessories should be removed. Before installation, lubricating oil (grease) should be applied to the hydraulic cylinder barrel, piston rod, and seals, but the grease should not contain solid additives such as MoS and ZnS.

When hydraulic cylinders encounter seals with high rigidity but low resilience, which are difficult to install, it is often necessary to manufacture specialized components according to the specific situation to solve the installation problem.
