1. Before using a Volvo excavator, users must add more than four fifths of the hydraulic oil to the tank.

2. Apply butter to the oil nozzles of various moving parts of the excavator twice a day until the butter overflows from the gaps in the moving parts.

3. Check the nut under the main shaft of the excavator for looseness every day, as it can damage the steering bearing.

4. Clean the hydraulic oil filter of the excavator every month, check if the filter screen is outstanding, and replace it immediately if it is damaged, otherwise it will accelerate the lifespan of the damaged hydraulic system.

5. If abnormal oil flow in and out of the hydraulic cylinder is found during operation, it is due to gas in the excavator cylinder. The operating handle of the cylinder can be repeatedly pushed and pulled until the gas is cleared. If there is still gas, check whether there is a possibility of air leakage in various parts between the oil tank and the oil pump, and tighten them.

6. If hydraulic weakness and slow movement are found in the excavator, check whether the oil pump is damaged. If it is aging, it should be replaced. Check whether there is any blockage in the filter, oil pump to oil tank pipeline, and clean it up. Check whether the hydraulic oil is overheated and whether the radiator and fan are normal.

7. The hydraulic pipe noise of the excavator is too loud, which is caused by bubbles in the hydraulic oil circuit. Check whether there is any air leakage in the pipeline between the oil pump and the oil tank, whether there is too little hydraulic oil in the excavator oil tank, and whether the water level in the water tank is too low, and clean them up.

8. Install the oil cylinder on the same valve of the excavator; If there is no power at all, check whether the pressure regulating valve inside the excavator is clean, whether the oil seal on the outer body of the pressure valve is damaged, and whether the pressure regulating cone needle is damaged.
