1. Before using the walking reducer, the blockage at the high position should be replaced with an exhaust plug to ensure that the gas inside the reducer is discharged during operation. If not replaced in a timely manner, the gearbox will run for a long time, causing the gas inside the gearbox to expand the oil seal and even cause the gearbox to leak oil.

2. When installing couplings, pulleys, sprockets, and other connecting components on the output shaft of a walking reducer, direct hammering should not be used as the structure of the reducer's output shaft cannot withstand axial hammering. Instead, screws can be screwed into the shaft end screw holes to press in the connecting components.

3. Replace the lubricating oil of the walking reducer in a timely manner. Special attention should be paid to changing the oil once. The reducer should change the lubricating oil in a timely manner after running for 300-400 hours, and then change the lubricating oil every 1500-2000 hours thereafter. In addition, in working environments with harsh conditions, high temperatures, and large dust, lubricating oil should be checked every half month. If any dirt is found in the lubricating oil, it should be replaced to keep it clean, extend the service life of the gearbox, and improve economic efficiency.
