Four key aspects of excavator operation skills for excavator accessories
1. Excavator operation
First, acknowledge the surrounding conditions. When reversing the operation, be aware of the surrounding obstacles and terrain to ensure safe operation. During operation, acknowledge the front-to-back direction of the track to avoid tipping or impact. Try not to face the final drive towards the excavation direction, as this can easily damage the travel motor or hoses. During operation, ensure that the left and right tracks are fully in contact with the ground to improve the dynamic stability of the entire machine.
2. Useful exploration methods
When the bucket cylinder and the connecting rod, as well as the stick cylinder and the stick, are at a 90-degree angle to each other, the excavation force is at its maximum; when the bucket teeth are at a 30-degree angle to the ground, the excavation force is optimal, meaning the soil cutting resistance is minimal; when using the stick for excavation, ensure that the visual range of the stick is between a 45-degree angle from the front and a 30-degree angle from the rear. Using the boom and bucket together can improve excavation efficiency.
3. Exploring rocks
Excavating rocks with a bucket can cause significant damage to the machine, so it should be avoided as much as possible. When excavation is necessary, the position of the machine body should be adjusted according to the crack pattern of the rocks, so that the bucket can be smoothly inserted for excavation. Insert the bucket teeth into the rock cracks and use the excavating force of the bucket arm and bucket to carry out the excavation (be careful of the slipping of the bucket teeth). For rocks that have not been fragmented, they should be fragmented first before excavating with the bucket.
4. Slope surface leveling operation
When performing surface finishing, the machine should be placed flat on the ground to avoid body shaking. It is crucial to grasp the coordination between the boom and the stick movements, and control the speed of both for surface finishing.
