Kawasaki agents believe that we all know that the hydraulic system of domestic excavator parts not only needs to be dust-proof, but also needs to be well waterproofed. Due to the chaotic and dusty working environment, the hydraulic system is constantly at risk; Another issue is that a humid environment can easily cause water to enter the hydraulic system, and hydraulic oil failure can directly lead to the paralysis of the transmission system of the entire machine. Therefore, this has to be taken seriously!
Kawasaki agents believe that the reason for hydraulic oil ingress is:
1. The excavator operates for a long time in a humid and wet area, causing water to gradually enter the hydraulic oil through the hydraulic oil tank.
2. Failure to properly prevent water from entering the hydraulic system during the replacement of hydraulic oil or cleaning or repairing of excavator parts.
3. The pipeline is not tightly sealed, causing rainwater to seep into the hydraulic system.
Transformation caused by water ingress
If hydraulic oil is mixed with water, it will undergo simple emulsification and transformation. Emulsified hydraulic oil entering the hydraulic system can cause rust on excavator parts. Rust residue moving in the hydraulic system for a long time will affect the hydraulic pressure, and the movements of the large and small arms, as well as the digging bucket, will become weak as a result.
The decrease in smoothness function of hydraulic oil will aggravate component wear and shorten the service life of bearings and other components.
Sweep away excess moisture
Because the density of water is greater than that of oil, water will deposit at the bottom of the fuel tank. If hydraulic oil is found to have entered the water, it is recommended to stop the machine in time and let the oil in the tank stand for 1 hour. After the water settles, open the drain valve in the excavator accessory at the bottom of the tank to drain the water.
Replace with new hydraulic oil
If hydraulic oil is found to have entered the water, draining all the hydraulic oil in the excavator and replacing it with new hydraulic oil is considered the most luxurious but also the most reliable method by Kawasaki agents.
How should we prevent water from entering? Kawasaki agents have compiled the following points:
1. Waterproof measures should be taken on rainy days, and when replacing hydraulic oil, waterproof measures should be taken.
2. Regularly check the hydraulic system seals, and replace them promptly if these excavator parts are damaged.
3. Drainage should be carried out every two to three days.
