It's almost a rainy day, and the rain is getting heavier and heavier. So what should excavators pay attention to on rainy days? Kawasaki agent Chuanna Hydraulic will summarize four precautions for us below.
1. Timely cleaning
When encountering heavy rain weather, timely cleaning should be carried out.
2. Paint surface
The acidic components in rainwater have a strong corrosive effect on the paint surface of excavators, which can cause harm to the paint surface of excavators overnight. Therefore, during rainy seasons, it is best to perform a paint job on the excavator. The simplest way is waxing, and the more durable and effective way is to seal the glaze. Regardless of the method, put an invisible maintenance coat on the excavator to prevent the paint from fading and aging.
3 Chassis care
The chassis is the closest part to the ground and is particularly affected by road conditions. Generally, this part is the easiest to rust and stains, and the wheel casing may even become loose and perforated. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the cleaning and rust prevention treatment of the excavator chassis and perform a chassis rust prevention treatment.
4 Burning engine
On rainy days, if you encounter the problem of difficulty starting the engine, sometimes even if you barely start it, you will be exhausted. Kawasaki agent Kawana Hydraulic believes that the most likely cause of this problem is electrical leakage due to moisture in the incineration system, resulting in the loss of normal incineration function.
Once it is found that the poor combustion and decreased engine function are caused by the moisture of the incineration system, it is best to first dry the inside of the distribution panel meter and wires with a dry tissue or cloth, and then use a special drying agent spray can to spray the drying agent on the distribution panel cover, battery connector, line connector, high-voltage wire, etc. After a while, the engine can be started.
