Diagnosis and repair of diesel electronic control engine problems for imported excavator accessories
1. First outside, then inside
When the engine of Liugong excavator parts shows problems, first check the possible faulty parts outside the electronic control system. This can avoid a problem that is originally unrelated to the electronic control system, but requires complex and time-consuming inspections of the system's sensors, computers, actuators, and circuits, where the problem may be easily found but cannot be found. A relatively simple solution is to first observe the system's malfunction indicator light when the engine malfunctions. If the indicator light does not appear, it can be treated as a mechanical problem. If the indicator light is displayed, we can know the location of the problem through flashing codes and take corresponding measures.
2. Simplify first, then complex
In fact, the vast majority of engine problems are relatively simple, and the same goes for electrical system problems. We can first conduct a preliminary inspection of the electrical system, such as checking the connection of the electrical control system wiring harness: whether the electrical connectors of sensors or actuators are in good condition; Whether the connectors between wire harnesses are loose or disconnected; Is there any abrasion or short circuit between the wires; Check for corrosion on the plugs and sockets of the electrical connectors, and inspect each sensor and actuator for any significant damage.
When no problems are found during direct inspection and it is necessary to use instruments or other specialized tools for inspection, it is also necessary to inspect areas that are relatively easy to inspect or may have problems.
3. Flash code first
Electronic control systems generally have a fault self diagnostic function. When the electronic control system shows a certain problem, the self diagnostic system will immediately detect the problem and alert the driver through the "detect engine" warning light, while storing the information of the problem in the form of code. At this point, we should press the engine diagnostic switch, and the engine malfunction indicator light will flash codes in sequence. We can identify the malfunction indicated by the flashing code according to the corresponding manual and deal with it accordingly.
4. Code induction
If none of the previous actions can solve the problem, we need to use a specialized diagnostic tool to conduct a test on the electronic control system. Firstly, acknowledge the code issue, and then use the various functions of the diagnostic tool to conduct a detailed diagnosis of the engine. For example, if the fuel injector of a certain cylinder is found to have zero fuel injection, it can be preliminarily judged that there is a problem with the fuel injector or wiring harness of that cylinder, and then proceed to the next step of troubleshooting, which is relatively simple.
5. Replacement exclusion
The problems that occur in the electrical system of an electronically controlled engine are usually caused by poor contact of the wiring box connectors. At this time, it may take a considerable amount of time to investigate the cause of the problem in detail. In the actual repair process, in order to quickly solve problems and eliminate faults, the quickest way is to replace the faulty parts with new ones after diagnosis, which can solve the problem quickly. After finding the faulty component, it is much simpler to identify the cause of the problem.
