The cleaning of the smooth system of excavator engine repair is carried out in the smooth system of the engine. Due to the long-term operation of the smooth oil, the asphalt tar and other dust gradually accumulate on each part of the smooth system, along with the metal powder from mechanical wear and the dust falling from the air, forming the asphalt tar sludge condensate. These condensates once caused poor engine smoothness function, and sometimes even the cleaning of the engine smoothness system was carried out in the engine smoothness system. Due to long-term operation of the smoothness oil, asphalt tar and other dust gradually accumulated on each part of the smoothness system, along with metal powder from mechanical wear and dust falling from the air, forming the asphalt tar sludge condensates. These condensates have caused poor smoothness function in engines, and sometimes even blockages in smooth systems. So it is necessary to thoroughly clean these condensed substances in a timely manner.
There are two common methods for repairing and cleaning the smooth system of an excavator engine:
1. Gasoline immersion cleaning divides the smooth system into fuel tanks, oil pumps, filters, radiators, pipelines, cylinder blocks, crankshafts, etc. The differentiated components are immersed in gasoline for a certain period of time, usually at room temperature for more than 8 hours. This way, some components in the condensed matter are dissolved in the gasoline, and other components are correspondingly softened. Then, they are brushed off with nylon brushes or metal wire brushes. The dirt in the pipeline can be manually cleaned with a pipe cleaner or washed with gasoline.
2. Alkaline water-based metal cleaning agent circulation cleaning is difficult to clean due to the accumulation of asphalt oil condensate on the inner walls of oil passages in high-temperature areas such as cylinder blocks, crankshafts, and connecting rods in smooth systems. Therefore, when cleaning smooth systems of steel, the pH of the cleaning agent solution is generally required to be 12.5-13, and the temperature should be between 70-90 degrees Celsius.
When repairing and cleaning excavators, soak the descaling parts in a cleaning solution for 1-3 hours until the asphalt tar deposits become soft. Then connect the cleaner pipe joint, start the pressure pump, and perform a cyclic cleaning until the cleaning stops. Remove the descaling parts and wash them with hot water, then rinse them with movable water until the pH value of the water flowing out of the pipe is close to that of tap water. Remove the descaling parts and blow dry them, then bake them in an oven at 105-115 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Sometimes, to avoid rusting inside the pipeline, passivation treatment should be carried out after water washing. The passivation treatment process is the same as the passivation process after rust removal. The passivated descaling parts need to undergo water washing, blow drying, and drying processes.
